Structured doctoral training in Astrophysics
To prepare our PhD students for their professional careers in research and technology, a combined and steady framework was formed for the supervision and training in astronomy and astrophysics. Partners are the University of Potsdam (UP), the Leibniz-Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP), and the DESY/Zeuthen.
Potsdam Graduate School
The University of Potsdam offers a range of soft skill seminars and tutorials in the framework of the Potsdam Graduate School (PoGS).
Language classes
The Center for Languages and Key Competencies (Zessko) offers a variety classical courses as well as individual training for a number of languages, including German as a foreign language.
Sport
PhD students at the University of Potsdam are invited to participate in a number of sport classes and fitness activities offered at special rates (Hochschulsport).
