Structure of the Technical Section
The four competence teams of Technical Section jointly implement instrumentation projects of the institute.
The Technical Section is organised into four competence groups:
- Precision Mechanics Workshop (Head: Jens Paschke)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Optics (Head: Dr. Ulrike Lemke)
- Technical Software, Electronics, Detectors (TSED)
To realise instrumentation projects, team members work together in flexible, interdisciplinary crews with complementary skills.
In addition to its support services for the scientific section, Technical Section offers an apprenticeship training program.
