Training paths and success stories (since 2016)
Precision mechanic
2020/2021 - 2024:
Oskar Sauerbrey tells us how he is using his skills to help explore the universe. The video was made on the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research to mark the Science Year 2023 Our Universe.
Oskar Sauerbrey was a vocational trainee in the 2016/2017-2019 training cycle:
In co-operation with the Potsdam Chamber of Crafts, Oskar was involved not only during his vocational training but also as a journeyman as a training ambassador. In this role, he visited schools to encourage pupils to discover their individual interests and talents. He provided insights into his own training as a precision mechanic at the institute and tried to convey his enthusiasm for this craft.
Here is an interview with Oskar from the Press and Public Relations Section.
