Astronomical observations:

Observing experience:

I have used most of the instruments at the Nordic Optical Telescope in optical and near infrared for imaging, photometry, polarimetry, and high and low resolution spectroscopy. I have been observing on my own during about 20 nights, and supporting other observes at NOT during about 35 nights.

I have also observing experience with the PEPSI instrument, both at Large Binocular Telescope and the Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope.

Allocated time:

  • P.I. in LBT period 2021B, 2022B, and 2023B2024A projects for PEPSIpol via RDS time
  • P.I. in LBT period 2020B, 2021B, 2022B, 2023B2024A, and 2024B2054A projects for PEPSIpol via AIP TAC
  • P.I. in ESO period 106, 108, 110, and 112 project for UVES
  • P.I. in ESO period 99 - 102, 106, 108-112 projects for FORS2
  • P.I. in ESO period 86, 87, and 105(107), 109, and 112 projects for HARPS
  • P.I. in NOT period 35 project for SoFin; observing run supported by OPTICON grant
  • Several successful Co-I proposals for various ground based telescopes

User support:

  • Wrote PEPSI observing manuals for VATT and LBT
  • Instructed observers on how to make the observations with PEPSI at VATT
  • Supported colleagues when planning PEPSI observing proposals and observations
  • Instructed observers to operate the telescope and observe with various instruments at NOT

Service:

  • Editor of the IAU WG on ‘Ap and related stars’ Newsletter since 2020
  • Taking care of PEPSI instrument-pages
  • Took care of Stellar activity -web pages until February 2021
  • AIP colloquium organiser for internal speakers (2013-2022)
