Debian Astro Pure Blend
Debian as a system that fits the requirements of both professional and hobby astronomers
The Debian Astro Pure Blend provides about 300 astronomy related software packages. The current stable version 3.0 is delivered with the release of Debian 11 “Bulseye” in 2021. All packages are installable from the regular Debian distribution without external requirements or non-official repositories. The packages are Open Source as defined by the Debian Free Software Guidelines. Most packages are maintained within the Debian Astro Team.
In coordination with the upstream author, the packages are carefully adjusted to perfectly work together in the Debian ecosystem.
