Gas distribution in Local group, CLUES B64_WM3

The image/movie shows the distribution of gas in the CLUES simulation B64_WM3_186592, a resimulation with 40963particles, rendered with PMViewer. Colors represent the density of gas, from dark blue for sparse to bright yellow for very dense regions. The resimulated area was chosen because of its similarity to the Local Group, with Andromeda (M31) in the center, M33 to the lower right and the Milky Way at the upper right corner.

The animation shows a rotation around the gas distribution and is also available as a stereo 3D movie below.
